The new constitution for UKCP will come into effect on 5 December.

The byelaws and the standing orders are key documents in determining how UKCP works. The documents available on this page have been developed by the Organisational Development Group in consultation with sections.

Member organisations were invited to comment. Comments were collated and responded to prior to a final round of negotiation with sections in September.

We received only one response to the call for comment on the Bye laws and Standing Orders and the results of the consultation will be presented to the Board of Trustees for ratification on 14 November together with any appeals.

Appeals against the result of the consultation sent to and received by 12th November will be put to the meeting.
