You may be feeling down, depressed, hopeless or anxious – or you may just feel a general lack of lust for life. Whatever it is that is currently troubling you, if it has reached the point at which it is affecting the quality of your daily life, therapy could be the first step to understanding what is going on for you.
Coming to therapy can be an emotional 'journey' which is not always easy, however it is also an opportunity for change, which could be the beginning of living your life differently.
I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist (PGDip), having trained at Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF Therapy) which was validated by Roehampton University.
I am a professional member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and also registered with The Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC). I therefore adhere to their code of ethics and working practice.
I am a recognised psychotherapist registered with Counselling Directory, Psychology Today, and welldoing.org.
Alongside my private practice, I work as an accredited, ‘High Intensity, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy’ (DIT) psychotherapist within the NHS’s ‘Improving Access to Psychological Therapies’ (IAPT) Talking Therapies Southwark service, at South London and Maudsley (SLaM) NHS Foundation Trust.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
