I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy, short-term or long-term. As a counsellor, I believe all human beings are unique, with an entity of a body, mind, and spirit; all human lives are precious and exceptional. Therapy is a space to feel safe to share and to allow your feelings to be heard and understood. Together, we will explore your true self and bring your challenges to the fore, imagining and creating a life where you are not only surviving but thriving.
Today, we know that brain structures are being built and altered thanks to experience. Psychotherapy can be more effective when based on a neuropsychological approach. The knowledge about the brain is continually enriched, which leads to updating of the therapeutic approaches. Neuropsychological studies prove that cognition is a key element linking brain functioning and behaviour. The new evidence on brain functioning necessitates the integration of neuropsychological achievements in the psychotherapeutic process. An integrative approach considers the dynamic interaction between brain functioning, psyche, soul, spirit, social interaction, and neuroplasticity. This is neuro-psychologically informed psychotherapy.
